The second day of the EUSA Combat Championship (judo in particular)  started at 10 am. The fights were played on three tatamis in the Hall of "Dom sportova 1". The female championship consisted of three categories. 

Medal winners in women's categories:

In the 63-70kg category, the gold medal was won by Audrey Fels, the silver medal was won by Julie Holterhoff. 

In the 70-78kg category, the gold medal was won by Patricia Sampaio, the silver medal was won by Julia Jaśkiewicz and the third place went to Marie Branser and Lea Katerina Gobec.

In over 78kg category, the gold medal was won by Emma Saudrais and silver by Emese Karpati. 

"It's not my first time competing in the University Championships, I won a bronze medal last year and a gold one this year. I am very pleased, I was ready to win, '' said Emma Saudrais. 

"I'm competing in the University Championship for the second time. I am very pleased with my struggles, the European Cup in Bratislava and then the Senior Championship of Europe is waiting for me below, '' said Lea Katerina Gobec.

Tomorrow is the last day of the competition and we are expecting fights in mix teams.
Following the award of the medals, we are expected to have the closing ceremony of the competition.
